The Science Spectrum is excited to announce the opening of its newest exhibit area, ExploraZone. ExploraZone will feature a yearly rotation of three highly interactive science exhibitions. Through a new partnership, called TexNET, with the Exploratorium in San Francisco, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and other Texas Museums, the Science Spectrum will have the privilege of bringing these new annual sets of exhibits to Lubbock. Each featured exhibition will open in the fall, beginning Fall 2005, and will exhibit through the following summer.
Brand New To the Science Spectrum! Why does this tube make my voice sound funny? In the Sound exhibition find out how the speed of sound effects how you hear things, see what sound looks like and learn to be a better singer. This collection of exhibits presents sound in a new, thought provoking and fun way.
