Party times are as follows: Saturdays- 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 4:00 PM Sundays- 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM.
Having a birthday party at the Science Spectrum is where your family and friends can expect something different and exciting! From our basic Museum Explorer Party and our cool science-themed add-ons, to a behind-the-scenes look at the OMNI Theater, your child will always remember the fun they had at a Science Spectrum Birthday Party.

Museum Explorer Party
The Museum Explorer Party is our base birthday party for up to 20 people and includes the following:
- Unlimited Museum Exploration time
- Private Party Room for 90 minutes
- Birthday Party Coordinator
- Balloons
- Party invitations
OMNI Party
Ever wonder how the OMNI Theater works? Well, now you can find out with our OMNI Party.
- Museum Explorer Party plus+
- The whole group views an OMNI film
- Tour of the OMNI Theater projection booth.
Cool Science Themed Add-Ons
- Restless Natives Come closer than you have ever been to critters native to West Texas. You'll see reptiles, bugs, and even a prairie dog!
- Dino-Mania Meet distant relatives to dinos and meet the Science Spectrum's very own dinosaur.
- Ice Cream Creations Feel the chill on your neck while you watch a liquid nitrogen demonstration, including making ice cream in less than a minute.*Ice Cream bowls and spoons provided!*
- Mammal Medley Prairie dogs, hedgehogs, rats, oh my! See firsthand the similarities and differences of these animals.
- Krazy Chemistry (Ages 7 & up) Create polymer fun with chemistry! You can make Slime.
- Starry Nights (Ages 7 & up) See the stars in the daytime in our out-of-this world Space Bubble.
You can add a cool science theme onto either the Museum Explorer Party or the OMNI Party! 
Prices and Other Information!
The following is a list of prices for our various Birthday Party packages. Prices listed include deposit. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Museum Explorer Party Cost: Members- $85.00 Non-Members- $105.00
OMNI Party Cost: Members- $140.00 Non-Members- $155.00
Add-On Themes Cost: $25.00 each *Ice Cream Creations $40.00 (Limit one Theme)
The Prices listed above are for groups of up to 20 people (including parents). $4.50 for Museum Explorer Party and $6.50 for OMNI Party will be added for each person over 20.
Reservation Information
The following information should answer most of your birthday party reservations & questions:
- Reservations may be made either in person, or by calling 806.745.2525, ext. 274. Please leave a message if no one is available to take your reservation.
- A $25.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required at the time of your party reservation, and will be applied to the total party cost.
- Reservations may not be taken without a deposit and are on a first come, first served basis.
- Reservations must be made at least a week prior to a birthday party date. Please notify us as soon as possible of a cancellation.
- All other discounts or membership benefits may not be combined with birthday party fees.
Things You Should Know!
The following are some suggestions and rules to help guarantee that you and your family can have the best birthday party possible!
- You will need to bring your own cake & refreshments!
- Your party coordinator will meet your guests in the Atrium/Lobby. He/She will give out admission stickers to paid guests and escort them to the Party Room.
- Schedule a time for parents to pick-up their children in the Atrium/Lobby.
- No outside entertainment, pinatas, silly string, or confetti!
- You must provide your own paper goods, utensils, and decorations. We do not provide a refrigerator to store leftover food, but we will secure your child's gifts while your group is in the museum or OMNI Theater.
- Explorer Parties are for children who are turning ages 2 and up, OMNI Parties are for children turning 5 and up.
The Science Spectrum and OMNI Theater offer group rates and reservations.
